National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 revised exam date and application process for the undergraduate course is expected to be released soon. The central government and National Testing Agency will soon take a decision on NEET 2021 and other entrance examinations across the country. However, by looking at the prevailing COVID 19 situation, students have urged the government to postpone NEET 2021 exam till October 2021.
The demands for postponement of NEET 2021 have increased following a high-level meeting on holding board and entrance exams during COVID-19 on May 23, 2021. The Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and four union ministers, including Union Education Minister, chaired the meeting. All the state education ministers have been asked to submit their report by today, May 25, 2021. Amid these, students have requested the central government to postpone the NEET 2021 exam till October.
Students who are appearing for Class 12 Board Exams 2021 will be appearing for NEET 2021 as well. Considering that the date of the board exam is not yet released, students have said that they would need a little more time to prepare for the NEET 2021 exam. Short notice may not do justice to the exam preparation time.
